Description
Open call for all visual art mediums at thegallery8680 in Frisco. Artists may submit 1 to 3 pieces; additional pieces are accepted for a fee. Gallery acts as agent for exhibition and sales.
Notes
thegallery8680 will open its doors at 7:00 PM on Friday, August 14, 2026, with the show also open on Friday, August 21 and Friday, August 28, 2026. Submission deadline: on or before midnight Sunday, August 2, 2026. Acceptance notification: Tuesday, August 4, 2026. Delivery: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Monday, August 10, 2026. Reception: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Friday, August 14, 2026. Pick up: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Monday, August 31, 2026. Fee: $35 for 1-3 pieces; $5 for each piece after 3 images. The gallery acts as agent for exhibition and sales. The gallery may photograph art and artist for publicity and promotion. The gallery is not liable for loss, damage, or theft caused by persons unrelated to the gallery. Packing, insurance, and transport to and from the gallery are the artist's responsibility. Artist receives 70% and thegallery8680 receives 30% of the final sale price, including negotiated price. Work not accepted or sold must be picked up by the pickup date; a $10 storage fee will incur. Art not picked up within 30 days of the pickup date becomes the property of thegallery8680. Sales proceeds will be paid out no later than 2 weeks after the end of the show.
