Community Art Contest exhibition featuring 44 entries by 21 artists. Works are on display at the Creative Arts Center, with most pieces available for sale.
Notes
Winners announced September 9, 2026. Jennifer Owen received Best of Show and a $200 cash prize for the acrylic “Breakin’ Free.” Tatiana Suvorova Murray received First Place and $150 for the oil painting “Our Morning Glories,” and Second Place and $125 for the watercolor “Carleton House, Bonham.” John Willson received Third Place and $100 for the acrylic “Les Damoiselles.” Contest judge: Dr. Trina Harlow. Entries are on display until the end of September. The gallery is open Tuesday through Friday, 10:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Saturday, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. Free admission. Contact: (903) 640-2196.
