Description
Art-car celebration featuring local artists and visiting Houston cartists, including an Art Car Drive around Downtown Denton Square followed by art cars, live music, a community art car, and a graffiti painting area at GDAC.
Notes
Friday, September 11, 2026, 6:00 PM–9:00 PM. The evening begins with an Art Car Drive around the Downtown Denton Square, followed by a celebration at GDAC. Live music by Raised Right Men and a cash bar provided by Union Bear. Visitors can meet the artists and view art cars up close. Community Art Car and graffiti painting area participation is available; spray paint, gloves, and masks are provided, and visitors may bring their own supplies. Local artist Daren Fagan created 11 sculptural trophies from reclaimed automotive parts for Arts & Autos. The trophies are on view in Festival Hall beginning September 8, 2026, before being featured at Art Car Alley on September 11; they will be awarded to Arts & Autos car-show winners on Saturday.
