Description
Members-only call for a rotating gallery exhibition at The Platform in Frisco. Accepts Painting, Drawing, Photography, and Mixed Media. Theme is Geometric / Architectural / Abstract with optional Forest Green focus; up to 5 JPEG images; 2D works must be 16x16 to 60x60 inches unframed.

Submission window: 2026-01-27 11:00 AM to 2026-04-08 11:59 PM. Extended deadline. Fee is $10 for first 3 entries, with up to 2 additional entries at $2 each. VAGF members only; non-members may join before submitting. Artists submit up to 5 JPEG images. Some artworks may be purchased for permanent decoration of residential hallways or included as part of a rotating art gallery. Artists notified of purchase offer or acceptance by Apr 15, 2026. Artwork value must be $100 to $1,000. VAGF handles sales and retains 20% donation commission. Bio: third person, one paragraph, max 50 words. Artist statement: first person, up to 3 paragraphs, max 250 words. Accepted works must be delivered to The Platform building located at 2nd and Oak St on Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Rotating gallery pickup date will be announced in the acceptance email; estimated exhibition duration is 4 months. Dates are subject to change because building is under construction. Meet the Artists event will be scheduled later. Works must be ready to hang with wire taut at the upper fourth of the frame; saw hooks not accepted. 1/2-inch to 1-inch canvases should be framed; 1 1/2-inch to 2-inch canvases need neatly painted edges if unframed.
