Description
Members-only call for a residential-gallery exhibition at The Platform. Theme is Geometric/Architectural/Abstract, with optional Forest Green focus. Accepts Painting, Drawing, Photography, and Mixed Media; some works may be purchased for permanent placement or shown in a rotating gallery.
Notes
Extended deadline. Submit up to 5 JPEG images: $10 for the first 3 and $2 each for up to 2 additional images. 2D hanging work must be 16 to 60 inches on each side, excluding frame. Original work only. Notification of purchase offer or acceptance by April 15, 2026. Work must be priced from $100 to $1,000; VAGF handles transactions and retains 20% donation commission. Bio must be third person, one paragraph, maximum 50 words; artist statement must be first person, up to 3 paragraphs and 250 words. Deliver accepted work May 3, 2026, 12:00 PM–2:00 PM. Rotating-gallery pickup will be announced with acceptance; estimated exhibition duration is 4 months. Meet the Artists event will be scheduled later. Work must be wired and ready to hang; saw hooks are not accepted. Canvases 1/2 to 1 inch should be framed; unframed 1 1/2 to 2 inch canvases need neatly painted edges.
