Description
Juried call for women artists 18 and older for a mentorship-focused exhibition at Art on Main. Accepts Painting, Drawing, Photography, Fiber Art, Sculpture, Printmaking, and Ceramics; works should interpret the theme of revealing magnificence and must be for sale.

Call opens Jan 22, 2026 and closes Mar 31, 2026, extended to Apr 4, 2026 at 11:59 PM. Acceptance notifications go out Fri, Apr 10, 2026. Artist Mentor Workshop is Apr 21, 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Exhibition on view May 12-30, 2026. VIP Pre-Reception is Sat, May 16, 2026 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Opening Reception is Sat, May 16, 2026 from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM; Best in Show presented at the opening reception. Closing Reception is Sat, May 30, 2026 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Gallery hours are Tuesday, Thursday-Saturday 10:00 AM-5:00 PM or by appointment. Art drop-off dates are Thu, May 7, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Fri, May 8, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sat, May 10, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Art pick-up is after the closing reception on Sat, May 30, 2026 at 8:30 PM or Mon, Jun 1, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Entry fee is $25 for two submissions; fees are non-refundable. Call is open to all women artists 18 and older from anywhere, especially those with little to no gallery experience. Artists may submit a maximum of two works. Works must be for sale. Art on Main takes a 25% commission on sold work. 2D work may not exceed 40 inches wide by 48 inches tall; 2D work must be framed, on gallery-wrapped canvas, or otherwise hangable with wire or 3D hooks; sawtooth hangers are not accepted. 3D works may not exceed 24 inches wide, 60 inches high, and 24 inches deep, with weight not over 50 lbs. Artists should indicate name, title, and contact info on the back of the piece. Works of photography and drawings must be framed. If possible, provide a pedestal for sculptural works not designed to be hung. Any special install instructions must be included with the submission. Accepted art delivered after the scheduled drop-off dates will not be included. Shipped art must include return instructions, shipping materials, and either a prepaid return label or payment for return shipping. Art on Main will provide insurance unless a work is not accepted for coverage; artists may sign a waiver if they choose to exhibit without insurance.
