Description
Juried VAGF members-only membership showcase at the Frisco Discovery Center. Accepts Painting, Drawing, Photography, Mixed Media, and Sculpture; open subject matter; up to 3 JPEG submissions free. Works must be original and not previously shown in juried VAGF shows.

Submission window: 2026-01-06 00:00 to 2026-02-09 23:59. Free for up to 3 images. Members only; non-members may join before the deadline. Exhibition on display from 2026-02-28 to 2026-03-28 at the Frisco Discovery Center. The text states notification of acceptance between February 11 and 13, 2025. Accepted works must be delivered Saturday, 2026-02-28 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and picked up Saturday, 2026-03-28 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Artists Reception and Award Ceremony: Sunday, 2026-03-08 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. Accepted artists receive calendar invites from vagfsuggestions@gmail.com. Failure to deliver on time results in exclusion. Failure to pick up on time results in $25/day storage fees starting on pickup day. Hanging works must be ready to hang with wire taut at the upper fourth of the frame; saw hooks not accepted. 1/2" to 1" canvases should be framed; 1 1/2" to 2" canvases must have neatly painted edges if unframed. Hanging artworks should be no wider than 60 inches and no taller than 72 inches including frame. VAGF may refuse works at load-in due to weight, size, structural integrity, or other considerations. Sculpture artists must provide a safe, secure display method; heavy sculpture not meant for the floor should include a pedestal. Multi-unit works must be connected as a single unit. Juried show with cash awards in various categories; jurors to be announced. VAGF retains 20% commission from sales. Contact info@vagf.org.
