Juried VAGF membership showcase at Frisco Discovery Center. Open subject matter; categories Painting, Drawing, Photography, Mixed Media, Sculpture. VAGF members only; free submission up to 3 JPEG images. Work must be original and not previously shown in juried VAGF shows. Exhibition Feb 28–Mar 28, 2026. Reception and award ceremony Mar 8, 2026.

Host: Visual Arts Guild of Frisco. 2026 edition of juried membership showcase “Fresh Start”. Show on display at the Frisco Discovery Center from February 28, 2026 to March 28, 2026. Eligibility/submission: VAGF members only; non-members may participate by paying membership fee online prior to submission deadline. Free submission for up to three images. Entries accepted in Painting, Drawing, Photography, Mixed Media, Sculpture. Subject matter open. All works must be original concept and must not have been previously shown in juried VAGF shows. Submission deadline: Monday, February 9, 2026. Notification: notified of acceptance into the show between February 11 and 13, 2025 (as stated). Delivery/drop-off: accepted works delivered at Frisco Discovery Center, 8004 N Dallas Parkway, Frisco TX 75034 on Saturday, February 28, 2026 between 12:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m. Failure to bring during dropoff time results in exclusion. Pickup: Saturday, March 28, 2026, 12:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m. Failure to pick up during pickup time results in storage fees of $25 per day starting with pickup day. Reception: Artists Reception and Award Ceremony March 8, 2026, 6:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m. Calendar invites: accepted artists receive calendar invites from vagfsuggestions@gmail.com. Hanging requirements: ready-to-hang with wire taut at the upper fourth of the frame; saw hook hanging not accepted. Works on 1/2"–1" canvases should be framed; works on 1 1/2"–2" canvases need neatly painted edges if not framed. Size limits: hanging artworks no wider than 60 inches and no taller than 72 inches, including the frame. VAGF reserves right to refuse entry at load-in due to weight, size, structural integrity or other considerations. Sculpture guidelines: artist asked to provide a way to safely and securely display the art; if big/heavy and not designed to be displayed on floor, encourage artist to provide pedestal; multi-unit works must be connected; VAGF volunteers or Discovery Center staff cannot assist with assembly without the artist present. Commission: VAGF retains 20% commission from all sales generated through the show. Liability/insurance: by registering for VAGF art calls, if selected art displayed in public area at artist’s own risk; VAGF not responsible for damage/loss; artists may provide their own insurance.
