Description
Members-only call for a themed exhibition at The Beacon residential gallery in Frisco. Accepts Painting, Drawing, Photography, and Mixed Media; free for up to 2 JPEG images. 2D works must be 20x20 to 60x60 inches including frame. Theme is Colorful Modern Abstract and selected works may be purchased for permanent placement or shown in a rotating gallery.

Submission window: 2025-08-30 00:00 to 2025-10-06 23:59. Free for up to 2 images. VAGF members only; non-members may join before submitting. Artists notified of purchase offer or acceptance by October 11, 2025. VAGF handles sales and retains 20% commission. Artwork must be priced at least $100. Accepted works must be delivered to The Beacon building at 7291 Elm St, Frisco TX 75034 on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and picked up on Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Artists accepted to the show receive calendar invites from vagfsuggestions@gmail.com. Meet the Artists event will be scheduled later. Works must be ready to hang with wire taut at the upper fourth of the frame; saw hook hanging is not accepted. Works on 1/2-inch to 1-inch canvases should be framed; works on 1 1/2-inch to 2-inch canvases should have neatly painted edges if not framed. Multi-unit works must be connected as a single unit. VAGF may refuse work at load-in due to weight, size, structural integrity, or other considerations. Failure to deliver on time results in exclusion. Failure to pick up on time results in storage fees of $10 per day starting on pickup day. Artwork must stay in VAGF exhibitions until pickup and be signed out.
