Call for 2D work for The Beacon partner gallery. Theme stated as Colorful Modern Abstract. Free submission (up to 2 images) for VAGF members only. Categories: Painting, Drawing, Photography, Mixed Media. Size 20"x20" min to 60" max (including frame). Value at least $100; 20% commission to VAGF. Delivery Nov 2, 2025; pickup Feb 8, 2026. Host: Visual Arts Guild of Frisco. Venue: The Beacon, 7291 Elm St, Frisco TX 75034 (CAP Multifamily). Free submission for up to two images; submission is free for VAGF members only (non-members may join VAGF online prior to submission). Theme for this show: Colorful Modern Abstract. Categories: Painting, Drawing, Photography, Mixed Media. All works must be original concept. Artwork requirements: 2D artworks size at least 20" by 20" and up to 60" maximum (each dimension at least 20 inches and no more than 60 inches, including the frame). Multi-unit works must be connected to hang/display as a single unit. Ready-to-hang with wire taut at the upper fourth of the frame; saw hook hanging not accepted. Works on 1/2"–1" canvases should be framed; works on 1 1/2"–2" canvases need neatly painted edges if not framed. VAGF reserves right to refuse entry at load-in due to weight, size, structural integrity, or other considerations. Sales: purchase transactions handled by VAGF; VAGF retains 20% commission from sales; pieces must have value at least $100. Deadline/notification: submission deadline October 6, 2025; artists notified of purchase offer or acceptance by October 11, 2025. Delivery/drop-off: Sunday, November 2, 2025, 2:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. at The Beacon. Failure to bring during drop-off time results in exclusion. Pickup: Sunday, February 8, 2026, 2:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. Failure to pick up during pickup time results in storage fees of $10 per day starting with pickup day. Meet the Artists event: scheduled later. Removal restriction: artwork must stay in VAGF exhibitions until pickup time on pickup day and must be signed out; removal without written permission by VAGF board member may incur significant penalties; emergencies/changes must be communicated to info@vagf.org.
