Description
Members-only themed exhibition at Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea in Frisco. Accepts Painting, Drawing, Photography, and Mixed Media; up to 2 JPEG images free. Theme is Seascapes; art pieces cannot exceed 36 inches in either dimension including frame and must be for sale.
Notes
Submission window: 2026-04-06 07:42 to 2026-05-02 23:59. Free submission for current VAGF members only; non-members may join before the deadline. Artists submit JPEGs by May 2, 2026 and are notified by May 6, 2026. Accepted works must be delivered to Sweetwaters Coffee and Tea on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and picked up on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Meet the Artists event is July 11, 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Accepted artists receive calendar invites from vagfsuggestions@gmail.com. Failure to deliver or pick up on time results in exclusion or $25/day storage fees starting on pickup day. Works must be ready-to-hang with wire taut at the upper fourth of the frame; saw hook hanging not accepted. 1/2-inch canvases should be framed; 1-inch to 2-inch canvases need neatly painted edges if unframed. Sold artwork must remain on display until the end of the exhibition. Artwork must stay in VAGF exhibitions until pickup and be signed out. Removed artwork without written permission may incur penalties. VAGF retains 20% commission/donation from sales; pieces must have value of at least $100 and artwork not for sale will not be accepted.
