Description
Members-only call for 2D artwork at The Gallery residential building in Frisco. Theme is Funky Modern Colorful / Mixed Media and Collage. Accepts all 2D mediums; up to 5 JPEG submissions; size 16x16 to 60x60 inches unframed.
Notes
Extended deadline submission window: Apr 4, 2026 5:15 PM to May 16, 2026 11:59 PM. Fee is $10 for first 3 entries, with up to 2 additional entries at $2 each. VAGF members only; non-members may join before submitting. Some works may be purchased for permanent decoration or shown in a rotating art gallery. Please include artwork price in the Notes section. Artists submit up to 5 images for consideration. Artists will be notified of purchase offer or acceptance by May 26, 2026. Artwork values must be $100 to $1,000. Accepted works must be delivered to The Gallery Apartment lobby at 4th and Ash St on Saturday, Jun 6, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Rotating gallery pickup date will be announced in the acceptance email; estimated exhibition duration is 4 months. Dates are subject to change because the building is under construction. Meet the Artists event will be scheduled later. Works must be ready to hang with wire; saw hooks not accepted. 1/2 to 1 inch canvases should be framed; 1 1/2 to 2 inch canvases should have neatly painted edges if unframed. Artwork must remain until pickup and be signed out. Failure to deliver results in exclusion; failure to pick up when announced results in $25/day storage fees starting on pickup day.
