Description
Members-only photography call for The View residential gallery in Frisco. Accepts Photography only; up to 5 JPEG images. Theme is Retro / Modern / Industrial; 2D hanging works must be 16x16 to 60x60 inches unframed, and some works may be purchased for permanent hall decoration or placed in a rotating gallery.

Extended submission deadline: 2026-04-29 23:59. Start date listed as 2026-03-07 06:00. Fee is $10 for first 3 entries, with up to 2 additional entries at $2 each. VAGF members only; non-members may join before submitting. Artists may submit up to 5 images. Include the price of the artwork in the Notes section. Artists notified of purchase offer or acceptance by May 4, 2026. Purchase transactions handled by VAGF; VAGF retains 20% donation commission from sales. Pieces must have a value of at least $100 and maximum value of $1,000. Bio: condensed third person summary, one paragraph, max 50 words. Artist statement: first person, up to 3 paragraphs, max 250 words. Accepted works must be delivered to The Platform building on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Rotating gallery pickup date will be announced with acceptance email; estimated exhibition duration is 4 months. Dates subject to change because building is under construction. Meet the Artists event will be scheduled later. Works must be ready-to-hang with wire taut at the upper fourth of the frame; saw hooks not accepted. 1/2-inch to 1-inch canvases should be framed; 1 1/2-inch to 2-inch canvases should have neatly painted edges if unframed. Artwork must stay in VAGF exhibitions until pickup and be signed out. Removal without written permission by a VAGF board member may incur penalties.
