Description
40th annual international contemporary craft and digital art competition and exhibition. Open to local, national, and international artists for craft media, digital, and conceptual work; artists may submit 1 to 3 artworks.
Notes
Call for art is open. The exhibition accepts ceramic, wood, fiber, metal, glass, paper, mixed media, digital, and conceptual art. Submissions open May 23, 2026; deadline is October 10, 2026 at 11:59 PM CT. Entry fee is $35 for up to 3 submissions; additional entries are free. GDAC members receive a $5 discount. Awards include two $1,000 Juror's Choice Awards and four $450 awards for Best Quality Craftsmanship, Best in New Media, Most Innovative Use of Materials, and The Storyteller. Work must have been completed within the past three years and must not have previously been exhibited at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center. Jurors for the 2027 exhibition will be announced soon.
