Description
International contemporary craft and digital art competition and exhibition featuring ceramic, wood, fiber, metal, glass, paper, mixed media, conceptual art, and digital media. Open to local, national, and international artists; works must be original, completed within the past three years, and ready to install or hang.

Call opens May 23, 2026. Entry deadline is Oct 10, 2026 by 11:59 PM CT. Submit online through CaFÉ: https://artist.callforentry.org/festivals_unique_info.php?ID=17346. Each artist may submit up to 3 artwork entries. Fee is $35 non-refundable for the first application entry; 2nd and 3rd entries are free. Current GDAC members receive a $5 off coupon code via the newsletter Art Scene. Accepted media include clay, fiber, glass, metal, paper, wood, combinations of craft media, digital media, and conceptual art. Ready-made materials are accepted. Work must be completed within the past three years (2024-2026) and not previously exhibited at the Patterson-Appleton Arts Center. Maximum weight is 75 pounds; GDAC may exclude entries with complex installation or assembly issues. A 30% commission is retained from all sales. Works not for sale must be marked NFS. Notification emails are sent Nov 9, 2026. Artist contracts are due Nov 28, 2026. Shipped and hand-delivered artwork is due Jan 5-9, 2027; no Sunday or Monday deliveries. Opening Reception is Feb 26, 2027 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with Awards Ceremony at 7:00 PM. Exhibition is on view Feb 26-May 8, 2027. De-installation and return of artwork take place May 10-22, 2027.
