Description
Members-only exhibition at the new Frisco Public Library. Accepts Painting, Drawing, Photography, and Mixed Media; up to 3 JPEG submissions free. Theme is Chasing the Sun; works must fit size limits and be original.
Notes
Submission window: 2026-04-21 12:00 AM to 2026-05-11 11:59 PM. Free for current VAGF members only; non-members may join before the deadline. Artists submit JPEGs by May 11, 2026 and are notified by May 15, 2026. Accepted works must be delivered Sunday, Jun 7, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and picked up Sunday, Sep 27, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Frisco Public Library, 8000 Dallas Pkwy, Frisco TX 75034. Meet the Artists event on Thursday, Aug 6, 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Accepted artists receive calendar invites from vagfsuggestions@gmail.com. Failure to deliver or pick up on time results in exclusion or $25/day storage fees starting on pickup day. Artists unable to pick up or drop off must email info@vagf.org with the designated person's name. Works must be ready to hang with wire taut at the upper fourth of the frame; saw hooks not accepted. 1/2-inch canvases should be framed; 1-2 inch canvases need neatly painted edges if unframed. Multi-unit works must be connected as a single unit. Hanging artworks should be no wider than 60 inches and no taller than 60 inches including the frame; minimum size on either side is 24x24 inches including frame. VAGF may refuse work at load-in due to weight, size, structural integrity, or other considerations. Artwork must remain in VAGF exhibitions until pickup and be signed out. VAGF retains 20% commission from sales; artwork must be for sale at at least $100. Additional Frisco Library liability form must be completed and signed if accepted.
