Description
Members-only call for art at the new Frisco Public Library. Theme is Chasing the Sun. Accepts Painting, Drawing, Photography, and Mixed Media; up to 3 JPEG submissions; hanging works limited to 60 inches wide and 60 inches tall, with minimum 24x24 inches including frame.
Notes
Submission window: Apr 21, 2026 12:00 AM to May 11, 2026 11:59 PM. Free submission for up to 3 images. VAGF members only; non-members may join prior to the deadline. Works must be original and multi-unit works must be connected as a single unit. Artists submit JPEGs by May 11, 2026 and will be notified of acceptance by May 15, 2026. Accepted works must be delivered to Frisco Public Library on Sunday, Jun 7, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and picked up on Sunday, Sep 27, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Meet the Artists event will be on Thursday, Aug 6, 2026 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. Accepted artists receive calendar invites from vagfsuggestions@gmail.com. Failure to deliver or pick up on time may result in exclusion or $25/day storage fees starting on pickup day. Artists must email info@vagf.org with the name of a designated person if unable to drop off or pick up. Works must be ready to hang with wire; saw hooks not accepted. 1/2 inch canvases should be framed; 1 to 2 inch canvases should have neatly painted edges if unframed. Artwork must remain until pickup and be signed out. VAGF retains 20% commission from sales. Pieces must have a value of at least $100 and artwork not for sale will not be accepted.
