Description
Members-only exhibition call for large 2D artworks at Venture X in Fairview. Accepts Painting, Drawing, Photography, and Mixed Media; free for up to 2 JPEG images. Works must be at least 30x30 inches unframed; open subject matter.
Notes
Submission window: 2025-11-29 12:31 to 2025-12-30 23:55. Submission is free for VAGF members only; non-members may join before the deadline. Deadline extended to midnight on December 30, 2025. Artists notified by January 3, 2026. Accepted works must be delivered to Venture X, 163 Town Pl, Fairview, TX 75069, on Sunday, February 1, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM and picked up on Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Accepted artists receive calendar invites from vagfsuggestions@gmail.com. Meet the Artists event will be scheduled later. Failure to deliver on time results in exclusion. Failure to pick up on time results in storage fees of $25 per day starting on pickup day. Works must be ready to hang with wire taut at the upper fourth of the frame; saw hook hanging is not accepted. Canvases 1/2 to 1 inch should be framed; 1.5 inches or larger canvases should have neatly painted edges if unframed. Multi-unit works must be connected as a single unit. VAGF may refuse work at load-in due to weight, size, structural integrity, or other considerations. VAGF retains 20% commission donation from sales. Artwork must have a value of at least $100.
