Call for an exhibition at the Allen Public Library inviting artists to explore home, memory, ritual, belonging, and the objects and relationships that shape personal histories.
Notes
Accepted media: Painting, Drawing, Photography, Mixed Media, Assemblage, and Digital Art. Artwork size: 11x14 up to and including 20x24. Submission deadline: Friday, August 21 at 11:59 pm. Notification: Wednesday, August 26. Load-in: Sunday, August 30, 2:00-4:00 PM. Load-out: Sunday, January 10, 2:00-4:00 PM. The exhibition aligns with the library's mission to honor community stories and shared knowledge. Artist prompts include Home as Archive, Ancestral Echoes, Domestic Rituals, Rooms Remembered, The Table, Thresholds, Light and Warmth, What We Keep, and What We Carry.
